The secondhand Rolex 16700 is the last of the original GMT Master line. It remained in production from 1988 until the late 1990s and was sold alongside its successor the GMT Master II for its entire production run. Many collectors preferred this option over the newer GMT Master II for its affordable price tag and classic size and weight. The ref. 16700 that you see here today pairs the stainless steel finish of the case and bracelet with a striking red and blue "Coke" bezel in aluminum. This feature is topped with 24-hour graduations and can be read against the dedicated hand on the dial the sync with local time while keeping home time present on the dial. The GMT Master is also widely sought-after for its use of a reliable, self-winding movement and waterproof case.
