pre owned Rolex oyster perpetual 4220
The Rolex Oyster Royal ref. 4220 that you see here today is a striking vintage timepiece produced sometime in the late 1950s. As an older preowned Rolex, its feature set includes a smaller 29mm Oyster case in stainless steel, an acrylic crystal, and a unique brevet crown. The self-winding movement that beats within this ref. 4220 allows the case to maintain a thinner profile. A rare California dial displays the time via Roman hour markers on the top half of the dial, baton and triangle markers at the 3, 6, 9 and 12-hour markers, and Arabic markers on the bottom half of the dial. Blued skeleton Mercedes hands sweep around the dial, and the dial itself is presented in a heavily faded silver tone that gives the overall watch incredibly character and history.
