Vintage Ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref 6504 Circa 1954 is in overall great, honest vintage condition. The case is in good condition with scratches, nicks, and normal signs of wear. The outside caseback is stamped "stainless steel" and the inside is stamped "6504 III.54 8." The numbers are clearly visible between both sets of lugs. This watch has retained its correct "Brevet" crown (Rolex crown with + underneath). The textured "waffle" dial is in overall attractive, honest condition and has aged to a creamy color; it has developed some dark patina and has some wear throughout. The lume plots on the dial have developed patina and some have darkened more than others. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has darkened also; the minutes hand has been relumed. The crystal is in good conditio with some wear. This watch has a replacement Rolex lizard strap with stainless steel unsigned buckle.
Vintage Ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref 6504 Circa 1954 is a lovely watch with some stand out features. First off this Oyster-Perpetual features a textured or "waffle" dial giving it a unique look. Waffle dials are not very common from Rolex so having one is special. In addition to the textured dial, this features "small-seconds" at six o'clock which is also something not very common from Rolex as you typically see central seconds. We have seen ladies watches get more attention recently and this one is worth giving a look!
