Pre-Owned Watch Condition Examination
This pre-owned Rolex watch is in overall excellent pre-owned condition with only minor surface wear to the caseback.
The first GMT Master II came to market in the 1980s via ref. 16760. Also known as the "Fat Lady" or "Sophia Loren", the ref. 16760 boasts a noticeably thicker case to accommodate the then-new movement with an independent GMT hand. While subsequent references featured a thinner case, the Fat Lady remains a cult favorite among avid collectors for its interesting proportions and unique role in the GMT Master II's history. The preowned Rolex that you see here today also features Tritium luminous plots in a handsome patina, white gold surrounds on the dial, and a striking red and black "Coke" Bezel.
