The Oyster Perpetual has been on the market for decades. The first Oyster case was developed in 1926, and the perpetual movement followed a few years later in the early 1930s. Decades later, the core design of the original Oyster Perpetual remains in the form of a simple, time-only dial, a reliable waterproof Oyster case, and a sophisticated feature set. The preowned Rolex 116000 is one of the newest variations of the model and offers an impressive list of modern upgrades. The case and bracelet are now crafted from higher-grade 904L stainless steel that is both resilient and affordable. A fully-lumed dial displays the time in highly visible luminous material for a much easier reading in light or dark conditions. Finally, a next-generation calibre 3130 movement beats within the case and boasts a 48-hour power reserve and 28,800 bph for a smoother reading.
