In 2005, Rolex released the modern Rolex 116203 Datejust ref. This particular reference pairs a three-link Oyster bracelet with a 36mm Oyster case and a smooth bezel. The bracelet and case are also presented in a two-tone "Yellow Rolesor" finish that combines 18 karat yellow gold and 904L Oystersteel. This 6-digit reference also boasts a handsome slate dial, which is set with yellow gold Roman hour markers and central sweeping hands. A process of screwing the case back, bezel, and double-sealed Twinlock screw-down crown into the Monobloc middle case ensures that the perpetual movement within is protected against moderate wear for years of reliable readings.
