Pre-owned Rolex Datejust 36 ref. 116203 (2005–2006) replaced the earlier ref. 16203, carrying forward its smooth 18k yellow gold bezel but introducing details like polished lugs and a more solidly constructed bracelet. This example features a stainless steel Oyster case paired with a two-tone Oyster bracelet, with yellow gold center links running between the steel outer links. The champagne dial is a natural match for the gold and is outfitted with broader baton hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova, rather than the slimmer stick-style markers often seen on the previous generation. Of course, the signature Datejust display is still positioned at 3 o’clock beneath the Cyclops lens. Inside is the automatic caliber 3135 with a convenient Quickset date. A great all-rounder.
