The 60's-era Datejust ref. 1601 closely resembles the original model from the 1940's, offering a waterproof Oyster case topped with a gold fluted bezel and a date mechanism on the dial. Of course, the case is also powered by a self-winding perpetual movement, similar to the original reference. The two-tone case is topped with a traditional vintage Pie Pan dial, which features a design that drops away near the edge of the dial. Yellow gold indices and hands display the time alongside the jump date at 3 o'clock and the Rolex logo at 12 o'clock. Originally waterproof up to 100 meters, this pre-owned Rolex has held its value well through the years and is an excellent addition to any luxury watch collection.

Product was as advertised.
The whole process was seamless and as promised. The watch was in perfect condition and the presentation and packaging was outstanding. The Affirm process was seamless as well. I would definitely recommend Bob's Watches and do business with them again.
Stunning good looks. The slate dial is a bit more understated than the silver, gold, or black datejust dials, which I feel is important. The dial color pairs well with the bracelet or any brown or black leather straps.
Serial Number 2801936 is the one that I own. It is a complete set with box and papers. Unlike the version, shown in the photo, I have no luminescent hands. Great timepiece and has increased in value from the $255 Price Tag from June 28,1972. P.S. Not For Sale.
