This Oysterquartz 17000 is in overall great vintage condition. The case is in great condition with some small nicks on the bezel and light scratches. Serial and reference numbers on the underside of the lugs are clearly visible. The blue dial is in overall good condition and has faded a bit and presents as purple. The dial has developed patina and has some light wear. The lume plots on the dial have developed patina and multiple plots show signs of degradation/ are mostly gone (at 1, 5, 6, and 7). The very center of the dial under the handset shows some wear. The hands have also developed patina and the lume in the hands has been color matched/ relumed. When looking closely, the minute hand has a small hole in the lume near the tip. This has a 17000B bracelet with 12 links. The integrated oyster bracelet is in great condition with very light wear. The clasp is stamped “GC” indicating it's from 1982. The crystal is a service replacement with the Rolex crown etched at six o'clock.
