Rolex Datejust 116261 "Thunderbird"
A newer addition to Rolex's history-making Thunderbird Datejust is the Everose reference 116261 for sale here. The first Rolex timepiece to offer a rotating bezel (pre-dating several iconic sports watches including the Submariner and GMT Master), the Thunderbird Datejust is an integral piece of Rolex history. This modern variation features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a double-sealed Twinlock screw-down crown, and a COSC certified perpetual movement. A "Turn-o-Graph" bezel, red seconds hand, and date wheel are reminiscent of other Rolex sports watches, while a two-tone finish and a sleek profile remind the wearer that the Datejust, at its core, is a luxury dress watch. Perfect for everyday wear, the Rolex 116261 boasts a sleek fit via a sloped bezel and an approximate thickness of 11mm. A flat link Oyster bracelet is secured by an Oysterclasp for comfortable, all-day wear.

Just a beautiful watch, always wanted the Thunderbird version of the Datejust so when it became available I made a trade of a Datejust II that I hardly wore.
This watch is in excellent, "barely worn" condition. The strap is out-of-the-box condition, and the design of the watch itself is beautiful. Definitely will be part of the long-term collection!
