The Rolex Thunderbird Turn-o-Graph is a truly unique addition to the Rolex family. The Thunderbird was introduced in 1955 and was developed with the US Airforce as a tool for their pilots to use while in the air. As a result, it was unveiled with the addition of an engraved timing bezel, a feature that had never been seen on a dress watch before. This interesting feature can be found on reference 16263 along with an eye-catching two-tone design. The combination of stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold on the Oyster bracelet enhances this dress watch, giving it a classier look and feel. This matches beautifully with the champagne dial with elegant yellow gold Roman hour markers and hands. This Thunderbird comes in at an affordable price, making it an excellent addition for beginner Rolex collectors.
