Rolex Turn-O-Graph Datejust 16263 - White Dial "Thunderbird"

The Thunderbird Datejust was released in the 1950's and was inspired by the pilots of the highly celebrated Thunderbird aerobatic team. The case was outfitted with a rotatable "Turn-o-Graph" bezel that was designed to assist pilots while in the air. This was the first appearance of a timing bezel on any Rolex watch. The reference 16263 that is for sale here today features a striking yellow gold bezel paired with yellow gold high-polish center links on the Jubilee bracelet and yellow gold indices and hands. This two-tone men's dress watch also features stainless steel for a durable finish.
