Pre-Owned Rolex President 228238 Day-Date 40MM
Rolex introduced the 40mm Day-Date during Basel World 2015. The 41mm option came to market in 2008 and has since been discontinued, making way for the 40mm ref. 228238 that you see here today. The ref. 228238 equips the larger case with a newer calibre 3255 Perpetual movement, complete with high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day, and a 70-hour power reserve. The smooth movement allows the hands to sweep effortlessly around the dial for an accurate reading during almost any activity. The Day-Date also utilizes a process that involves screwing the case back, bezel, and Twinlock screw-down crown into the Monobloc middle case for waterproofness up to 330 feet. What makes this preowned Rolex even more exceptional is the display, which presents the time via sharp, faceted Roman numerals, creating a contemporary yet classic aesthetic.
