The extra waterproof seal of the case keeps the elements out so that the Swiss certified 3085 movement continues to perform flawlessly in any weather condition. The distinguishable red GMT hand circles the dial once every 24 hours, pointing to the 24-hour markers on the bezel to help the wearer distinguish between night and day. An ideal function for those who work continuously in dark environments, such as artic regions or caves. Luminous hour markers and "Mercedes" hands also help the wearer keep time in the dark.
