Vintage Rolex Oysterdate
Rolex produced the stainless steel Oyster Perpetual ref. 6089 sometime in the 1960's. Since that time, the dial has aged to a handsome patina, and the case remains in great condition. The time-only dial is set with arrowhead hour markers, Arabic markers at the 3, 6, and 9 positions, and Alpha "Sword" hands filled with lume plots. The Rolex logo sits just below the 12-hour marker alongside minimal text, giving the dial a sophisticated aesthetic. Initially waterproof up to 100 meters, the calibre 1225 manual-winding movement has resisted most wear and still produces an accurate reading. This particular used Rolex is presented on a complementary leather strap.
