Pre-Owned Rolex Sea-Dweller 126600 - Red Lettering
The ceramic Rolex Deepsea 126600 came to market in 2017, replacing the short-lived ref. 116600. In addition to bringing with it a larger 43mm Oyster case, the ref. 126600 also introduced the Deepsea line to a Cyclops lens over the date mechanism as well as the calibre 3235 movement with an increased 70-hour power reserve, Paraflex shock-absorbers, and a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring.
The case boasts a host of modern amenities, including a Chromalight display, a maxi dial with larger hour markers and hands, and a Cerachrom bezel crafted from ceramic material and platinum-coated graduations. A process of screwing the case back and Triplock screw-down crown hermetically seals the case, and a Helium Escape Valve allows gasses to properly escape the case, resulting in a deep saturation diver with a depth rating of up to 1,200 meters or 4,000 feet. As one can imagine, the case is slightly more robust than dive watches with a lesser depth rating. A new-style Oyster bracelet balances the heft of the case nicely for a comfortable hold that won't float around the wrist.
