Following the success of the original GMT-Master reference 6542 in 1954, Rolex introduced a successor to the reference, the 1675. The reference 1675 stayed in production until 1980’s and was one of the more prolific models produced by Rolex in the '60s and '70s. With its roots in aviation, the popularity of this model has never waned and it current models are as popular as ever.
This beautiful model has a beautiful, matte black, Mark I dial with hands that match the dial completely and has the collectible small arrow GMT hand. Though recently polished, the nice sharp bezels compliment the case and make this a superb timepiece. The case back is stamped II.67. Photographed on an Italian leather strap for variety, it is accompanied by fantastic C & I, expansion-rivet, Oyster bracelet in gorgeous shape. The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
