The Oyster case was patented by Rolex in the 1920's, setting the standard in the watch-making community for tough, reliable luxury watches. The watch arrived today, took a little longer since I am overseas. It is completely as described, even though the watch is "vintage", the condition is beautiful. This is my first Rolex, of which I expect to purchase again in the future.
