One of the newest additions to the Submariner line is the 6-digit Submariner reference 116618. This modern secondhand Rolex boasts every upgrade available to the line, including a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a unidirectional Cerachrom bezel, a maxi dial with a Chromalight display, fatter lugs, and a new bracelet design, complete with solid links and a tool-free Glidelock clasp. The brand's trusty calibre 3135 movement beats within the case and has been upgraded to include a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring for a smoother, more reliable reading. The gold Submariner retails for $34,250 and is listed for sale here today in used condition for $25,770 and will appeal to any serious collector who seeks a gold diver's watch.

On my list after previously owning a stainless steel sub and currently also own a two tone gold/stainless sub.
