Dial first. The 15200 came in a wide range — glossy black, silver, white, blue, salmon-adjacent champagne, plus Roman numeral, stick marker, and diamond-set variants. Because these dials are lacquered and sealed, condition is generally excellent, so this is a preference decision more than a condition one. Black and silver are the safe, liquid choices; blue and unusual configurations are harder to find and priced above them.

Bracelet — Oyster or Jubilee, and is it original? The Jubilee dresses the watch up considerably; the Oyster keeps it plain. Both are correct for the reference. Check that the end links fit tightly with no rattle, and note that stretch in a 25-year-old bracelet is common and only fixable by replacement. An original bracelet with matching clasp codes is worth paying for.

Full set or watch only? Box, papers, hang tags, and the original punched warranty card can add meaningfully to the price on a neo-vintage Rolex. If you're buying to wear, a watch-only example is the better value and gets you a larger pool to choose from. If you're thinking about resale in ten years, the full set is the one that holds a premium.

Case condition and polishing. Because these are 1990s watches, unpolished examples with sharp lug edges and full case thickness genuinely exist and are worth seeking out. Over-polished cases show rounded lugs and softened chamfers. This is one of the few 15200 attributes that can't be corrected later.
