Pre-owned Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref 67243 (1996) is unlike anything else in the current production OP series. For starters, this watch is made of steel and gold. Rolex only makes newer models in full steel. Ref. 67243 also sports the long-since-discontinued engine-turned bezel, which has a lovely texture on this model. There are long, smooth segments above each hour marker, and smaller, smooth segments above the minute hashes. A fluted texture separates each. It's dynamic yet still helps the wearer tell the time. While most Rolexes from this era have stick markers for the hours, this model opts for a full set of matching black hashes for both the hours and minutes. This layout is punctuated by Tritium dots and a crosshair (quadrant lines) at the center.
