Vintage Watch Condition Examination:
This GMT-Master is in attractive vintage condition with wear consistent with age. The case is in good condition with wear and scratches. The caseback has scratches and shows signs of opening. The red-back bezel insert is in great condition with some wear and scratches; the blue portion shows some fading. This watch has retained its correct date wheel with closed 6s and hooked 7s. The black dial is in overall attractive condition and has remained glossy. The dial has small areas of wear and light scratches throughout, these can be hard to notice. The lume plots on the dial show signs of slight cracking and degradation to the lume; most of the lume is gone. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has aged to a similar color as the lume on the dial. The rivet bracelet is in overall great condition with light wear and scratches. The crystal has some light wear ans scratches.
Description: Vintage Rolex GMT-Master 1675 Pepsi
The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. The example we have here is Circa 1966 and features a glossy dial, this would be the last glossy dial variation before Rolex went to the matte dials. Collectors have dubbed this dial variation "Wide Swiss" due to the "Swiss - T < 25" at the bottom of the dial being spread over five minute hashmarks rather than the more common three. This example is in overall super attractive condition and offers a great value for a glossy GMT.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
