By Paul Altieri,
This is a rare version of the Rolex GMT-Master reference 1675 on two fronts. First, it features a red and blue "Pepsi" bezel where the red has turned into a fuchsia color. These inserts are found only on a small run of GMT-Masters from the 1960s. A GMT-Master with this style of fuchsia bezel is often nicknamed the "Pink Panther". Second, this watch features a "Mark 1" dial with the "E" in ROLEX on the dial being unusually long - or a "Long E" for short. Last, the watch is preserved in extraordinary condition with what seems to be an unpolished case. Only a small number of Rolex watches from this period retain the original bevels on the case that have not been removed on a polishing wheel during a service.
*All Pre-Owned Rolex watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certified authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
