By Paul Altieri,
The production of the GMT-Master in gold completely surprised the public when it was introduced into the market as being one of the first sports watches ever produced in gold. The Rolex model 1675 was the second generation of the GMT-Master, produced between 1959 and 1980 and was available in stainless steel, stainless steel and gold or all gold. The successor of reference 6542, the 1675 introduced crown guards and the famous “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified” printing on the dial, proudly representing the precision timekeeper housed inside the case.
The present watch features a creamy brown nipple dial with matching brown bezel that provides a warmth of color together with the gold case. This watch is presented with an 18k YG Rolex Jubilee bracelet, which has aged stunningly. Combined with its overall excellent condition, it’s a versatile watch offering great wearability and style for a collector of vintage Rolex sport watches.
*All Pre-Owned Rolex watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certified authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
