This GMT is in overall great, attractive condition. The case is in good condition with some wear and scratches. The caseback has some wear and nicks. Between the lugs show some wear and scratches. The bezel is a later service replacement in great condition with light wear. The colors have remained vibrant. The "Swiss only" service dial is in overall great condition. The lume on the dial will still glow because it is luminova. The hands are also luminova service replacements and will still glow. The jubilee bracelet is in great condition with some stretch between the links which is not uncommon for this style bracelet; the clasp shows signs of a previous polish. The crystal has some light wear.
The reference 1675 is the second iteration of the original GMT Master and was offered in many variations. A handful of metal options were produced under ref. 1675, including the steel and gold like the example we have here. It pairs the two-tone finish with a beautiful brown dial with brown and gold bezel. However, what really sets this watch apart from other vintage Rolexes on the market are the charming yellow gold nipple hour markers and overall “Root Beer” motif.
This example has been what we called "all serviced up;" meaning the dial, hands, bezel, and bracelet have all been updated with service replacements. It was very common for Rolex to change and update watches when they come in for routine service and that is exactly what happened to this watch. These all serviced up examples offer a great value and are ideal for daily wearers. This one with the "Swiss only" dial will still glow in the dark because of the Luminova luminous material used. These offer the perfect blend of modern and vintage all wrapped into one. We don't see many "Root beer" GMTs with service dials and like how Rolex kept the vintage "Nipple dial" motif with a more modern luminescent material.

Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.
Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.
Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
