By Paul Altieri,
The "Blueberry" GMT-Master features an extremely rare all-blue bezel insert. It is certainly one of the most eye-catching vintage Rolex watches on the planet. These blue "Blueberry" bezel inserts are somewhat of a mystery to the market. Thought to dating to the 1970s, matching this watch, it is speculated that they were designed for those who did not want to differentiate between the day and night indicated by a "Pepsi" blue and red bezel, such as those in the military. In fact, these inserts are frequently associated with the GMT-Master watches worn by UAE pilots and soldiers in the 1970s. The present watch also features a "Mark 1" "Long E" GMT-Master dial, which features an unusual Rolex coronet (crown) logo and an unusually long "E" in the word "ROLEX" on the dial. These have the designation "Mark 1" since they were the first version of the GMT-Master dials in a matte black with white writing, whereas the predecessor models had a glossy dial with gold or "gilt" writing. This is an extremely rare opportunity to buy a "Blueberry GMT". This watch is furthermore distinguished by the rare fact that it includes its original box and guarantee, also known as "papers."
*All Pre-Owned Rolex watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certifed authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
