Rolex GMT-Master 1675 - "Pepsi"
The Rolex GMT Master’s captivating history began with Pan American Airways collaborating with Rolex to produce a watch that would allow their pilots to simultaneously keep track of time in two time zones. The reference 1675 introduced crown guards and a bezel with a metallic insert.
This 1675 example from 1978 stands out with its stunning and original black MK2 dial with creamy patina. The tritium hour markers have aged to an appealing shade of beige, almost resembling a light coffee color, and perfectly match the original luminous hands. The bezel has aged gracefully, having uniformly faded to a light red and blue.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
