This Rolex watch is in overall excellent, attractive condition. The case is strong with scratches and some wear. The bevels on the case are still visible. The bezel ring has remained sharp. The bezel is in excellent condition with some wear and scratches; the back of the bezel is dark fuchsia colored. The bezel colors have remained vibrant and have a dark appearance. The bezel is tight when rotating. The dial is in overall excellent with light patina. The lume plots on the dial have all aged to an even beige/sand color. The lume in the hands are matching in color and the hands have developed patina. The C&I stretch Oyster bracelet is in excellent condition with some wear and light scratches; there is still tension in the springs.
The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
This circa 1969 example is in overall beautiful condition with it's beautifully aged lume and gorgeous bezel. Collectors refer to this dial variation as a Mark I "Long E." When looking at the "Rolex" text on the dial the "E" has a longer central bar (same length as the top and bottom ones) and that is where this nickname comes from. Rolex made many iterations of the GMT over the years and this watch has a couple additional interesting things to note. This watch also has the correct date-wheel for the time period with the closed 6's and 9s as well as hooked 7s.
This watch is just stunning in the metal. The fuchsia bezel presents as a dark fuchsia color and dark blue in person that matches so well with the sandy colored lume. This watch is coming directly from the family of the original owner and we are glad they took such good care of it over years.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
