This GMT is in good, attractive vintage condition consistent with age. The case is in overall good condition with normal signs of wear. The hallmarks on the back of the lugs are clearly visible. Serial and reference numbers are visible. The brown bezel is in excellent condition with light wear. The dial is in great condition with light patina. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The lume on the dial has developed patina and aged to an attractive creamy color. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has been color corrected/ relumed to match the color of the lume on the dial. This watch has an 18k Jubilee bracelet with 21 links and hidden clasp; the bracelet is in overall good condition with some stretch between the links which is not uncommon for this style bracelet. The inside of the clasp is stamped "B" indicating it's from 1977.
The reference 1675 is the second iteration of the original GMT-Master and was produced in several variations, including this all-gold example. Rolex offered the gold 1675 with either a black dial and black bezel, or a brown dial with either a brown-and-gold bezel or an all-brown bezel; as seen here. This watch features a rich brown dial and bezel, but what truly sets it apart are the distinctive yellow gold nipple hour markers and the iconic “Root Beer” aesthetic. This watch comes on an 18k Jubilee bracelet with hidden clasp, adding to the watches overall charm.

The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
