The Rolex GMT, first introduced in 1959, has become a legend in the watch world. Originally designed for PanAm pilots, the signature GMT hand paired with the rotating 24 hour bezel allows the wearer to keep track of two different time zones simultaneously. Rolex ref. 1675 was not the first model GMT Master produced, but it is possibly the most influential. With it, came the introduction of the now iconic red and blue "Pepsi" bezel. It quickly became the choice of celebrities, appeared in many movies, and secured its place as a collector's favorite.
This watch features an Excellent Mark II matte black dial. The tritium hour markers are fully intact and have a gorgeous creamy patina. The patina on the hands could not match more perfectly. The replacement bezel adds some brightness to this stunning vintage piece. The watch has been previously lightly polished but the original bevels are still very visible. What makes this watch a truly a collector's dream is that it comes with the original box and papers!

The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
