Pre-owned Rolex Air-King ref 5500 (1981) is a second-generation model produced from the 1950s to the 1980s. Many variations came to market then, including the massively popular all-steel ref. 5500 for sale here. This model is, arguably, the quintessential Air-King. It features an approachable 34mm waterproof Oyster case, a matching three-link Oyster bracelet, and a silver dial decorated with tasteful hour markers and Tritium. Watches with the distinction "Precision" on the dial typically use the caliber 1520. Furthermore, the dial has developed patina throughout, adding to the watch's vintage charm. This is the watch to buy if you're in the market for an entry-level vintage Rolex with immense character and history.
