The Rolex 116660 launched in 2008 as the original Deepsea. This Rolex Sea-Dweller model is rated to a then-record 3,900 meters (12,800 feet) thanks to the patented Ringlock System. It ran the Caliber 3135 with a 48-hour power reserve and came on a narrower 20mm Oyster bracelet. The 116660 originally had a black dial only, with the now-iconic D-Blue James Cameron variant added in 2014.
