Rolex's newer model 36mm Datejust features an impressive list of modern amenities while also remaining loyal to the classic design that made the model such an immense success over the past seven decades. The ref. 116203, for example, maintains a 36mm case diameter and displays the Datejust's namesake jump date at the 3-hour marker, similar to the inaugural model from the 1940s. The case is also waterproof up to 100 meters and houses a perpetual movement with self-winding technology. As a newer secondhand Rolex, however, the ref. 116203 also boasts a two-tone finish crafted from improved 904L-grade Oystersteel and 18 karat yellow gold, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal over the dial, and a new-style case and bracelet. Contemporary while maintaining the classic Datejust aesthetic that many pre-owned Rolex collectors seek, the ref. 116203 is sure to become your new go-to wristwatch.
