While the collection has been in production since the 1950s, ref. 116261 represents the modern era, complete with contemporary two-tone Everose Rolesor, a sharp black dial with sporty red design elements, and the caliber 3135 self-winding mechanical movement. The case is covered by a sapphire crystal and boasts 100 meters of water resistance via the Twinlock waterproof screw-down crown.

Just a beautiful watch, always wanted the Thunderbird version of the Datejust so when it became available I made a trade of a Datejust II that I hardly wore.
This watch is in excellent, "barely worn" condition. The strap is out-of-the-box condition, and the design of the watch itself is beautiful. Definitely will be part of the long-term collection!
