Rolex Datejust 116261 turn-o-graph bezel
The "Thunderbird" Datejust holds a special place in Rolex history as the first model to include a rotatable timing bezel. The model has undergone quite the transformation since it debuted alongside the Datejust in 1945, a fact that is evident with the Everose Rolesor ref. 116261 for sale here today.
This edition holds fast to the traditions of the original Turn-o-Graph Datejust with a similar 60-minute fluted bezel, an automatically changing date display on the dial, and a Perpetual movement with self-winding. Among its many modern amenities is a higher-beat cal. 3135 Perpetual movement with smoother winder, an exquisite dual-tone finish of Oystersteel and 18kt rose gold, and a newer-style case and bracelet. This example also boasts a mesmerizing diamond dial, a sporty red seconds hand, and a matching red date wheel.

Just a beautiful watch, always wanted the Thunderbird version of the Datejust so when it became available I made a trade of a Datejust II that I hardly wore.
This watch is in excellent, "barely worn" condition. The strap is out-of-the-box condition, and the design of the watch itself is beautiful. Definitely will be part of the long-term collection!
