Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 1603 (1966) is an excellent opportunity for beginner collectors to invest in their first Rolex. It has all recognizable Rolex design codes, from the famous 5-point Rolex coronet to the time-and-date dial and the silky Jubilee bracelet. At the same time, the watch is cased in steel, making it both affordable and versatile. As a vintage model, it has a dynamic design set and a fascinating story to tell. The case is surrounded by the discontinued engine-turned bezel and features an older-style acrylic crystal and a vintage Pie Pan dial with Tritium in a lovely, deep patina. This model also sports the caliber 1570, a self-winding mechanical movement with a chronometer rating.
