Pre-Owned Watch Condition Examination
This Rolex watch is in vintage condition with surface wear to the bracelet, case, bezel and crystal. Dial is aged silver with patina present on the hour markers and hands due to natural exposure. Bracelet has stretch consistent with age.
Vintage Rolex Datejust 6105 Jubilee Fold-Over
The vintage Rolex 6105 is an early model Datejust, produced for several years between the 1950s and 1960s. Several iterations of the watch hit the market during that time, including the striking steel and yellow gold Datejust 6105 for sale here from 1963. While this watch is truly exceptional, inside and out, the dial is what stands out the most. Examples of the ref. 6105 exist both with and without the Datejust logo prominently displayed on the dial. This example has the Datejust logo as well as a striking red date wheel, arrowhead hour markers, and dauphine-style hands. Rolex also produced ref. 6105 with either "Swiss Made" or "Swiss" printed on the dial, our example is a coveted Swiss only Datejust. The engine-turned bezel and 5-link Jubilee bracelet add even further to the character and charm of this unique vintage Rolex.
